Szczawno-Zdrój

Dom z Piernika

Your retreat in the heart of the Szczawno-Zdrój spa town

About the house

Our house has some years behind it — it was built in 1932 and still holds its own. We kept the original look on the outside, and inside we renovated everything our own way — a bit zero-waste, a bit by instinct. We reused what was already there: old doors, bricks, a sink, timber. That's what gives the house its soul instead of a catalogue-fresh shine.

Inside it's cosy and simple. Three bedrooms (each with its own bathroom), two kitchens, a terrace and a garden — everything you need to feel at ease with a bigger group. The ground floor and upstairs can work separately, but most guests use the whole house together.

In the garden you can stretch out in the hammock, fire up the grill, or just sit at the table and talk until night falls. The house is welcoming to kids and dogs (though the steep old staircase means it isn't fully suited to the very youngest little ones), and it comes with fast Wi-Fi, parking and an electric car charger.

In short — you won't be short of anything, and almost anything is possible.
